Stepping into the World of Space & Aerospace

Sri Krish International School, in partnership with BCTLABS STEM Academy, organized an enriching Industrial Visit to Bangalore in 2022. The program gave students the opportunity to witness India’s remarkable progress in space science, aviation, and technological innovation.

Discovering India’s Space Missions at ISRO

At the U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), students gained an inside view of how satellites are designed and tested before being launched. They also learned about India’s historic missions—Chandrayaan, Mangalyaan, and Gaganyaan—and interacted with ISRO scientists who shared inspiring stories of innovation and perseverance.

A Walk Through Aviation History at HAL

The HAL Heritage Centre and Aerospace Museum offered a fascinating glimpse into India’s aviation journey. Students explored aircraft models, flight engines, and simulators, connecting classroom concepts with real-world aeronautical engineering.

Hands-On Science at Visvesvaraya Museum

The visit ended at the Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technological Museum, where interactive exhibits in robotics, electronics, and space science encouraged curiosity and practical learning.

Learning Beyond Classrooms

With guidance from BCTLABS STEM Academy mentors, this industrial visit became a memorable experience that combined learning, exploration, and inspiration—encouraging students to dream big in the fields of science, aerospace, and technology.
