Industrial Visit to ISRO – U R Rao Satellite Centre & Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium, Bangalore.
Our students had the rare privilege of visiting the ISRO – U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC) in Bangalore, the heart of India’s satellite missions. They explored satellite models, discovered how subsystems like power, propulsion, and communication come together, and interacted with ISRO scientists who shared insights on India’s proud achievements — Chandrayaan, Mangalyaan, and Gaganyaan. The experience gave students a real sense of how science transforms into space missions that inspire the nation.
The journey continued at the Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium, where exciting exhibits and the Sky Theatre show brought the wonders of stars, planets, and galaxies to life. This hands-on exploration of astronomy sparked curiosity and helped students connect classroom lessons to the universe beyond.
This industrial visit was more than just a trip — it was an inspiring experience that blended learning with discovery, igniting a passion for STEM careers in aerospace, robotics, and data science. It reinforced the values of innovation, perseverance, and scientific inquiry, empowering students to dream big and aim for the stars.
Inspiration & Impact
The trip bridged the gap between classroom learning and real-world applications, motivating students to explore future careers in aerospace, robotics, astrophysics, and data science. It also reinforced the importance of innovation, research, and perseverance in building India’s leadership in space technology.
